The United Way of Washington County will hold its first designer purse raffle fundraiser, the Power of the Purse, on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Washington Elks Lodge. The Power of the Purse supports the United Way of Washington County’s Community Impact Fund, specifically for programs supporting women and children. The Community Impact Fund provides support for specific programming needs in the areas of education, financial stability, health, food insecurity, veterans needs and supplemental needs.
This event will bring together individuals to enjoy lunch, dessert, participate in a service opportunity, and receive 25 chances to win designer purses and other available prizes. Tickets are $60 each and are available on the United Way of Washington County’s website at www.unitedwaywashco.org/purse.
The United Way of Washington County recognizes and appreciates the support of its Presenting Magnificent Madame Sponsor, Equitrans Midstream Corporation, who has stepped up to help launch the Power of the Purse fundraiser. The United Way of Washington County is seeking addiitonal sponsors as well as vendors and raffle donations to support this fundraiser.
