United Way Announces a New Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the United Way of Washington County is pleased to announce that P. Ann Hrabik, MBA, CFRE is their new Executive Director. Ann succeeds Barbara Murphy who served as President and retired after twelve years of service.

Ann holds a B.S. degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and serves on the board of directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Western PA Chapter as President-Elect.

Ann previously was the Development Director of Ward Home, Inc., a human service agency in Pittsburgh that serves foster youth. Prior to Ward Home, Inc., Ann was employed at local nonprofits including Ohio Valley Hospital, JDRF International and the Pennsylvania Restaurant Assocation.

Ann is excited about this opportunity and said, “l look forward to connecting with our existing and new community partners in Washington County to advance the mission of the United Way, to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world. Together, we can help those community members in need to achieve their human potential through education, income stability and healthy lives.”
